House for an Art Lover was built in 1989 from a competition design by Mackintosh (working with with his new wife, Margaret Macdonald) 80 years earlier.
He was disqualified from the competition for submitting his designs late.
Do enjoy the photographs taken in and outside the House for an Art lover in Glasgow. WELL WORTH A VISIT.
Although nothing to do with stained glass I found aspects of the house exterior really interesting: both the fine relief panel at the front and the roof top shown here at the top.
This panel in the second picture was my favourite in the house, but I think it is more complex than the average mackintosh panel. I love it.
The spectacular piano and the fireplace are in the dining room in the House for an Art Lover. This dining room is used for weddings. Small stunnung venue for such an event!
