I (the Editor) took the family to the delightful and interesting Island of Rhodes in August 2006.
We had a superb time and my girls even accompanied me to a good many old and interesting buildings, but of course, no stained glass. Everything dates from the time of the
Crusades, a bit too long ago.
But we did find a lot of kiln formed glass and beautifully done too. Not just the vibrancy of the work, but the amount of frits and fragments deep inside the base clear
glass truly amazed me. Very exciting work, and all made in Greece as far as I could determine. Inspiring:
Sorry about the focus, but look at the detail and interest.
